New Ozonated Water Jet: 100% Chemical-Free Oral Hygiene Arrives in Mauritius

A new portable oral water jet, which uses ozonated tap water instead of toothpaste or mouthwash, has launched in Mauritius. The device is a collaboration between the Centre for Cosmetic Surgery of the Indian Ocean (CCEOI) and the company Eauzonnet. It is poised to redefine traditional dental care with its innovative, chemical-free approach to daily hygiene.

The device transforms regular tap water into ozonated water, offering a powerful yet gentle cleaning agent that requires no rinsing.

This innovative approach focuses on purity and simplicity, aligning with the CCEOI’s holistic vision of wellness.

Raphael Bax, director of the CCEOI, stated that the product offers a natural and technologically advanced solution that integrates seamlessly into a daily routine, moving away from harsh chemicals and fostering a more harmonious relationship with our bodies and the environment.

This new oral jet distinguishes itself from conventional water flossers and dental products through several key innovations.

According to Tanguy Le Texier, managing director of Eauzonnet in Mauritius, the collaboration with CCEOI introduces a truly eco-responsible solution that reflects a shared commitment to natural well-being and environmental responsibility.

The product is the result of years of research into the benefits of ozone.

Designed for Sustainability and Simplicity

Sustainability is a core component of the device’s design. It features a long-lasting lithium battery, reducing the need for frequent charging and extending the product’s lifespan.

The main body of the jet is also made from durable and recyclable materials, reflecting a conscious choice for more ecological hygiene without compromising effectiveness, Bax added.

The portable oral jet is suitable for anyone who wants a simple and natural approach to dental care, including teenagers and people with braces or removable dentures.

Its ergonomic and user-friendly design makes it a good fit for all lifestyles, from busy professionals to students and seniors.

When used regularly, the jet complements traditional brushing by reaching hard-to-access areas, providing a sense of freshness and encouraging a natural, non-invasive daily routine without the need for processed ingredients found in classic mouthwashes.
