A new portable oral water jet, which uses ozonated tap water instead of toothpaste or mouthwash, has launched in Mauritius. The device is a collaboration between the Centre for Cosmetic Surgery of the Indian Ocean (CCEOI) and the company Eauzonnet. The device transforms regular tap water into ozonated water, offering a powerful yet gentle cleaning agent that requires no rinsing.

Raphael Bax, director of the CCEOI, stated that the product offers a natural and technologically advanced solution that integrates seamlessly into a daily routine, moving away from harsh chemicals and fostering a more harmonious relationship with our bodies and the environment.

This new oral jet distinguishes itself from conventional water flossers and dental products through several key innovations.

According to Tanguy Le Texier, managing director of Eauzonnet in Mauritius, the collaboration with CCEOI introduces a truly eco-responsible solution that reflects a shared commitment to natural well-being and environmental responsibility.

The product is the result of years of research into the benefits of ozone.

Sustainability is a core component of the device’s design. It features a long-lasting lithium battery, reducing the need for frequent charging and extending the product’s lifespan.
