René Leclézio is no longer serving as chairman of Medine Group’s board of directors after serving since 2011. He is replaced by Yvan Legris, who has been on the board since March 2023.

On July 4, the board officially announced Leclézio’s departure, aligning with his recent statements in the group’s latest report.

Yvan Legris, with extensive international experience in actuarial science and business management — including roles in the UK and US — now takes the helm as chairman.

He joined Medine as a non-executive director in March 2023 and recently led Aon Solutions Ltd.

This leadership change comes at a critical time for Medine, which is currently recruiting a new CEO following the resignation of Dhiren Ponnusamy.

In an environment of economic uncertainty and rising investor expectations, Medine, under its new leadership, needs to demonstrate its ability to achieve sustainable growth while managing its debt.

The coming months will be crucial for selecting a new CEO and implementing a more resilient, coherent, and sustainable business model.
