Anahita Management Switches to Sunlife Starting July 1

Starting July 1st, Sunlife has taken over management of Anahita Golf & Spa Resort and Anahita Golf Club, both located on the east coast of Mauritius. Alteo and Sunlife announced this new management arrangement in a statement issued 3rd July.
This partnership marks a key step in developing Anahita as a top destination for golf and luxury living in the Indian Ocean.
It also aligns with the shared goal of both companies to enhance the resort’s local and international reputation.
Anahita has been a flagship project for Alteo for over 15 years. It reflects the group’s vision to make the east coast a lasting place to grow, blending lifestyle, leisure, and local heritage.
The collaboration with Sunlife aims to boost the resort’s success by combining Sunlife’s operational expertise and regional partnerships with Anahita’s qualities.
Sunlife CEO François Eynaud said, “We are proud to include Anahita in our portfolio. This marks an important milestone in our growth strategy and shows our commitment to offering more ways for travelers and residents to experience Mauritius. Our mission remains to ‘Radiate the Magic of Mauritius’ through attentive service, authentic moments, and innovative hospitality.”
Alteo CEO Fabien de Marassé Enouf added, “Anahita has always been a key project for us. This new partnership with Sunlife will support ongoing growth and help the destination gain international recognition while preserving its core values.”
Known for its hospitality, luxury accommodations, and excellent golf facilities, Anahita fits well with Sunlife’s goal to offer more diverse experiences for visitors to Mauritius.
It complements Sunlife’s existing properties, including Sugar Beach, La Pirogue, Long Beach, and Ambre, each with its own distinct appeal.
The resort is also creating strong synergies with regional partners like Four Seasons, Île aux Cerfs, and Shangri-La Le Touessrok, offering visitors a lifestyle and sports destination that redefines the market.
Operational and marketing collaborations with Île aux Cerfs Golf Club will further strengthen Anahita’s appeal as a premier golf destination.
Alteo and Sunlife are working closely to ensure a smooth transition for staff, owners, guests, and partners.
A five-year renovation plan is being finalized, with investments planned to modernize facilities and upgrade amenities, positioning Anahita as a world-class resort.
Both companies remain committed to sustainable development on the east coast and to preserving Anahita’s unique character. Their efforts also aim to support a resilient and diverse Mauritian economy.
