Operation “Crackdown” Results in 92 Parking Violations in 1 Day

On Wednesday, June 25, police officers carried out a “Crackdown” operation near Port-Louis Market focused on illegal parking. During the operation, officers issued a total of 92 tickets for parking violations.

The most common violations included 27 tickets for parking in paid zones without displaying a valid parking coupon.

There were also 16 tickets issued for parking in delivery zones, and 14 for parking on double yellow lines.

Other parking infractions were also penalized during the operation.
