Roche Bois Footbridge Rehabilitation: Traffic Disruptions on M2 Highway

Major repair work will begin on the Roche Bois footbridge along the M2 highway from June 25 to August 5. To ensure safety and proper execution, one lane will be closed on both the north and southbound sides of the highway during weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Additionally, the road leading to the Abattoir will be temporarily converted to one-way traffic from its intersection with the M2 highway to the new access road near the Shell service station, heading towards the city center.

This section will now be open from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., instead of the usual 10:00 a.m.

Clear signage and road markings will be installed to guide drivers, and police assistance will be present throughout the construction period to manage traffic and ensure safety.
