On Sunday 22d June, protests took place in several U.S. cities to condemn American airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

In Los Angeles, demonstrators gathered outside the federal building in Westwood, criticizing the U.S.-Israeli raids, immigration policies of ICE, and showing support for the Palestinian people.

In Washington, D.C., protesters held signs outside the White House denouncing the military intervention. Meanwhile, in Boston, a rally featured anti-war slogans opposing the escalation in the Middle East.

The U.S. claims that the June 22 strikes destroyed Iran’s nuclear program, which was part of a campaign linked to Israel.

However, some officials suggest the true impact remains unclear. Iran has warned it will retaliate against U.S. bases in the region, raising fears of a wider conflict.

These tensions follow earlier Israeli bombings in June, which have intensified fears of regional escalation.

The protests are reflecting widespread concern about the potential for a major crisis in the Middle East, as international leaders urge de-escalation.
