Ministers Rebuild Key Boards: FSC & Others Reorganized, 5 Appointments

On Friday, June 20, the Council of Ministers held a meeting at the Trésor Building in Port-Louis. During the session, several key decisions were made. Notably, the board of the Financial Services Commission (FSC) was restructured. The appointment of a new Chief Executive for the FSC is still pending.
The councils for traditional medicine and pharmacy were also reformed.
Parmanand Mawah, Permanent Secretary, was appointed as part-time chairman of the Traditional Medicine Board.
Rajesh Unnuth was named part-time chairman of the Mental Health Commission.
Additionally, Ka Yee Leung Tak Wan now serves as part-time chairwoman of the Taxi Operators Welfare Fund, and Ham Sharma Kowlessur was appointed part-time chairman of the Road Transport Advisory Board.
