Rs3.5 Million Eco Deer Park Case: Maneesh Gobin Returns to FCC

Former Attorney General Maneesh Gobin returned to the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) on Thursday afternoon, June 19, for further questioning in the Eco Deer Park case.
The investigation focuses on allegations of a Rs 3.5 million bribe related to the lease of a 350-acre land parcel in Grand-Bassin to the Eco Deer Park Association.
Gobin was accompanied by lawyers Avineshwur Dayal and Roshan Santokhee. He was previously arrested in connection with the case on February 28 and is currently on conditional release.
