Quatre-Bornes Incident: Man Kidnapped & Beaten by 4 Suspects

A violent incident occurred Sunday evening around 8:30 p.m. in La Source, Quatre-Bornes. A 44-year-old man was assaulted by four individuals before being forcibly taken into a gray 4×4 vehicle. The license plate of the vehicle has not been identified.

According to a witness close to the scene, after hearing strange noises near the main gate of the victim’s house, he went to the terrace to see what was happening.

He saw four men attacking his uncle, hitting him repeatedly, before pushing him into the vehicle. The 4×4 then drove away toward La Source.

In a disturbing detail, after the attack, the assailants dropped the man off at the hospital.

He was admitted to the intensive care unit, and his condition is considered serious.

Investigators have not yet been able to get his account of the incident.

Preliminary information suggested that the victim may have had disputes with neighbors.

He is also suspected of threatening a teenage girl, which might have led to the attack.

Family members of the man declined to comment when asked about the incident.

CCTV footage from the victim’s home could be crucial for the investigation, which is now being handled by the Central Investigation Division.
