The suspects are Mohamad Imtheyaz Bundhoo, 55, from Phoenix; Louis Jonny Sylvio Montaigu, 61, from Forest Side; and Benjamin Jean-Michel Cerveaux, 34, from Saint Paul.

They deceived victims by claiming they were under FCC investigation, then pressured them to pay money.

During searches of their homes, authorities seized several mobile phones and SIM cards, which have been sent to the FCC for analysis.

The FCC had previously issued a statement on April 18, warning the public about these fraudulent activities.

The three suspects are now being questioned by the FCC as part of the ongoing investigation.
