ABC Banking Surpasses Rs 30 Billion in Assets

ABC Banking, a subsidiary of ABCB Holdings’ banking division, has announced total assets of Rs 30.1 billion for the nine months ending March 31, 2025. This confirms the bank’s strong financial position.

During this period, operating profit increased to Rs 667.1 million from Rs 616.8 million a year earlier.

The bank’s loan portfolio rose by 25.4%, reaching Rs 16.7 billion.

Net interest income grew by 7.0% to Rs 525.8 million, and net profit after tax was Rs 166.7 million.

In terms of financial ratios, the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) stood at 16.8%, well above the regulatory minimum of 12.5%.

The liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) was strong at 361%. Customer deposits also grew by 16.7%, totaling Rs 25.6 billion.

“These results reflect our customers’ confidence and the strength of our business model,” said Brian Ah-Chuen, Managing Director of ABC Banking.

The Managing Director also added that the bank is committed to improving efficiency and maintaining this positive growth trend.
