3 Mauritians Rescued Off Madagascar Coast After 2 Weeks Missing

Three Mauritians who had been missing for more than two weeks have been found safe off the coast of Madagascar.
They were aboard a speedboat that ran aground near the village of Imorona, in the northeast of the island.
The men — Jacques Laval Dormente, 43, Nicolas Presley Ivan Hagoo, 29, and Louis Jérémie José Lemontagnard — were rescued by local Malagasy fishermen.
According to a statement from local authorities, their boat had drifted after running out of fuel.
Mauritian officials notified
Mauritian officials were notified about the situation. However, sources close to the investigation suggest that the three men are suspected of being involved in a drug recovery operation at sea.
An investigation is currently underway.
