Rs30 Billion Fuel Contract Scandal: Ex-STC Boss Quizzed Under Warning

The investigation surrounding the allocation of the staggering Rs 30 billion contract from the State Trading Corporation (STC) for fuel supply continues to unfold with mounting tension.
Last night, Kareena Neisius, the director of Mercantile and Maritime Group, found herself in the clutches of the law, arrested by the diligent officers of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) following her interrogation.
The spotlight shifts to Rajiv Servansingh, the former Director-General of the State Trading Corporation, who is set to be questioned under caution for the second time in connection with this burgeoning scandal.
It is worth noting that the FCC had previously conducted a raid at his residence, seizing various electronic devices as part of their extensive investigation.
Rajiv Servansingh arrived at the Réduit Triangle this Tuesday, 29th April, at approximately 10:30 AM, accompanied by his legal counsel, Me Shyam Servansingh.
