Police Force Transfers: New Assignments for SP Jagai & 3 Other Officers

In a recent reshuffle within the ranks of the police force, Superintendent Ashik Jagai, the former head of the PHQ Special Striking Team and until recently stationed in the Eastern Division, has been transferred to the Northern Division. This change was formalised in an order issued by the Commissioner of Police on Wednesday, 23rd April, which outlined new assignments for two superintendents and two Assistant Superintendents.

Superintendent Jagai now assumes command of the police station located in the northern reaches of the island, while Superintendent Mosafeer has made the reverse journey, taking the helm of the Eastern Division.

In another notable shift within the Eastern Division, Assistant Superintendent Thakoor has been appointed to oversee the Terre-Rouge police station.

Meanwhile, Assistant Superintendent Oomeer departs the Northern Division for a new role in the East.
