Jugnauth Quizzed Again for 2 Hours Over Mysterious Suitcases

Former Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth again at the centre of a high-stakes investigation, spending just over two hours at the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) on Wednesday, 23rd April.
The interrogation is part of a broader inquiry into the mysterious suitcases discovered on Saturday, 16th April, which were reported to contain a staggering Rs 114 million in both local currency and foreign denominations, alongside a trove of luxury items.
Accompanied by his legal representatives, Me Raouf Gulbul and Shamila Sonah-Ori, Jugnauth arrived at the FCC under a cloud of scrutiny.
Upon his departure, Me Gulbul asserted that his client is remaining fully cooperative with the FCC investigators as they delve deeper into this perplexing case.
It is worth noting that Jugnauth had previously been placed under arrest in connection with this matter, only to be released on conditional bail thereafter.
