FCC Raids SBM Headquarters Under Judge’s Order

Unexpectedly, on 4 PM on 14th April, investigators from the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) executed a search warrant at the headquarters of the State Bank of Mauritius, seizing a number of crucial documents in the process.
Among the files taken, Defi Media revealed, is one pertaining to a loan extended to the Maradiva Hotel.
This operation was carried out following the FCC’s acquisition of a judge’s order, underscoring the gravity of the inquiry into the bank’s financial dealings.
