Weather Caution: 3 Reasons to Avoid Southern & Western Lagoons

In a stark warning issued on April 14th at 4:30 A.M., meteorological authorities have advised against venturing into the lagoons of the South and West, as clouds drifting in from the east are set to significantly influence local weather conditions throughout the day.
The morning will commence with predominantly clear skies, offering a brief respite of sunshine.
However, as the day unfolds and into the night, the heavens will gradually become partly cloudy, with a tendency towards overcast conditions, particularly in the East, South, and elevated terrains, where sporadic showers are anticipated.
Temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius across the central plateau, while coastal regions will experience slightly warmer conditions, ranging from 29 to 32 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperatures will hover between 20 and 22 degrees on the plateau and between 24 and 26 degrees along the coastline.
Winds will be blowing from the east-southeast at approximately 20 km/h, with gusts potentially reaching 50 km/h in exposed areas.
The sea conditions are forecasted to be rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest measuring around 2.5 metres.
Given these conditions, it is strongly advised that individuals refrain from embarking on high-seas excursions or exploring the lagoons in the South and West.
