58-Yr-Old Woman Found Dead in Tea Plantation

A grim discovery was made on Wednesday, 9th April, when a lifeless body was uncovered in a tea plantation in Bois-Chéri, near the reservoir. The victim has been identified as Anila Devi Khadoo, a 58-year-old resident of Seeruttun Lane, Bois-Chéri.

The police from Grand-Bois were alerted at approximately 6:48 AM.

Initial reports indicate that Anila Devi Khadoo’s body bore lacerations on both arms, raising suspicions of foul play.

An investigation has been launched by the police to shed light on this troubling incident.
