African Bank Delegation & Navin Ramgoolam Discuss Economic Resilience Strategies

On Wednesday, 2nd April 2025, a delegation from the African Development Bank (AfDB) visited Prime Minister Dr. Navin Ramgoolam, marking a significant courtesy call. The delegation also confronted the pressing challenges Mauritius faces, particularly regarding debt management.

Moono Cynthia Mupotola, who additionally serves as the Country Manager, attentively noted the government’s priorities, eager to identify ways to fortify the business climate and facilitate necessary reforms over the short, medium, and long term. Infrastructure financing emerged as another critical topic of discussion.
