The Sugar Beach International Croquet Cup 2025 (SBICC) is scheduled to take place from 31 March to 5 April in the picturesque grounds of the Sugar Beach Hotel. Here, players from around the world will compete for glory on the well-manicured lawns that lie before the hotel’s magnificent manor.
Returning to defend her title is the formidable Jenny Clarke from New Zealand.
Clarke, who captivated audiences with her remarkable performance in 2024, aims to secure victory once again amid a host of eager challengers and familiar rivals.
Mauritian players will proudly represent their nation with a team of five, poised to showcase their abilities on this esteemed international platform.

The SBICC promises not only electrifying competitions but also live broadcasts on “Croquet Scores,” with matches influencing an overall ranking system.
The victor of the singles tournament will be invited back to defend their title in the 2026 edition, complete with accommodation at a Sunlife hotel and inclusive flights.
