Emtel Ltd has announced a remarkable revenue of Rs 3.76 billion for the fiscal year 2024, marking a robust 10% increase from Rs 3.42 billion in 2023. This outstanding performance underscores the company’s steadfast dedication to innovation and the delivery of exceptional service to both individuals and businesses.

On Friday, 21 March, Kresh Goomany, Emtel’s Chief Executive Officer, shared his enthusiasm regarding this achievement.

“Our significant growth is largely due to the deployment of 5G technology and enhancements to our technological infrastructure,” he noted.

As 2025 approaches, Goomany expressed optimism, asserting, “We are ready to embrace every opportunity that comes our way.”

Several noteworthy financial metrics emerged from the report:

  • EBITDA: Emtel’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation experienced an impressive rise of 16.2%, reaching Rs 1.74 billion.
  • Underlying Profit Before Tax: The underlying profit before tax saw a 23.5% increase, climbing to Rs 599 million.
  • Net Profit After Tax: For 2024, Emtel’s profits after tax amounted to Rs 387 million, compared to Rs 373 million in 2023.
