Storm Deluge Leaves Over 400 Homes Without Power

More than 400 subscribers of the Central Electricity Board (CEB) find themselves in darkness, predominantly in the central and southern parts of the island.
This power disruption has been caused by heavy rains and thunderstorms that have descended upon various regions on Tuesday, 18th March.
Thierry Ramasawmy, communications officer at the CEB, shared this troubling update during a segment on RadioPlus.
He reassured listeners that technicians are diligently working to restore power to those impacted.
