Alarmingly, the villa belongs to a French national who is currently abroad.

Merely a few metres away, another distressing case unfolded. A 49-year-old housemaid reported that jewels worth Rs 3 million had been stolen from a safe in yet another villa.

These precious items belonged to her employer, who is also out of the country. The investigation revealed that the kitchen door had been forcibly opened.

According to police reports, both thefts occurred over the weekend, sending ripples of fear through the community.
