MTPA Strengthens Indian Market Ties at SATTE 2025

The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) made a noteworthy impact at SATTE 2025, successfully forging important relationships within the Indian travel trade. The event took place from February 19-21 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi, and MTPA’s pavilion welcomed nearly 450 visitors, including tour operators, travel agents, media professionals, and other industry representatives.
Featuring twelve key partners, such as Air Mauritius, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and hotel representatives, the stall offered attendees a chance to explore the island’s diverse attractions and gain valuable insights into its tourism offerings.
Commenting on the event, Ms. Zeenat Gangee, Tourism Promotion Manager at MTPA, stated:
“SATTE 2025 has provided us with a wonderful opportunity to engage more deeply with the Indian market.
There was a clear interest in Mauritius’ stunning landscapes, luxury resorts, and unique experiences.
It was gratifying to connect with trade partners and exchange essential insights.
We are pleased to see Mauritius gaining traction in the Indian market, particularly in North India, where there’s an increasing demand for luxury holidays, weddings, and family vacations.”
MTPA’s participation in SATTE 2025 was a crucial component of its strategy to expand its reach in India, strengthen partnerships with travel experts, and enhance the visibility of Mauritius as a vibrant travel destination.
Through continued engagement and personalised offerings, MTPA is aiming to position Mauritius as a top choice for Indian tourists.
