Community in Shock: 59-Year-Old Woman Drowns at Belle-Mare

The body of a 59-year-old woman was discovered on the shores of Belle-Mare on Saturday evening, 8th March. A resident of Bramsthan, she was found dressed in a blouse and tights.

Reports indicated that her belongings were located around 200 metres from the discovery site, prompting questions.

The deceased has been taken to Jeetoo Hospital’s morgue, where an autopsy concluded that she drowned, succumbing to asphyxia.

In the aftermath of this tragic event, local authorities have launched an investigation.
