Cancellation of Flight MK015 from Paris to Plaisance

Passengers on Air Mauritius flight MK015, originally scheduled to depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle at 16:20 yesterday, were faced with an abrupt cancellation due to a hydraulic technical issue. The airline promptly announced a new schedule: flight MK1015 was scheduled to depart from Paris on 11 March at 09:35, arriving in Mauritius at 23:50.
In light of this situation, Air Mauritius arranged assistance for the affected passengers. The majority benefited from overnight hotel accommodation, along with vouchers for dinner. Those who opted to stay with friends or family received a return taxi voucher.
At Charles de Gaulle Airport, the handling of the incident was somewhat chaotic. Communication of information was hampered, with announcements at the shuttle train station not always audible to those situated at the back.
Nevertheless, despite the wait and necessary procedures, passengers remained relatively calm and took the disruption in good spirits.
Air Mauritius has apologised for the inconvenience caused by the technical failure and the flight delay.
