Water Crisis in Morne: Residents Voice Their Anger to MP

On Monday 3rd March, the residents of Morne found themselves without a drop of water, a dire situation that has ignited a wave of outrage throughout the community. Faced with this unacceptable lack of basic resources, furious locals staged a protest, blocking the road in a desperate attempt to make their voices heard.

The cry for help is clear: the residents demand urgent action to restore their water supply and put an end to this crisis that is wreaking havoc on their daily lives.

In a show of support, the Member of Parliament for Constituency No. 14, Arvin Babajee, visited the area.

“I came here to listen to their grievances and ensure that effective solutions are put in place,” he stated.

“Access to water is a necessity, and we will continue to ensure that every citizen can enjoy this fundamental right.”
