CWA Warns of Potential Water Disruptions, Advises 3-Day Water Storage
In light of the approaching tropical storm Garance, the Central Water Authority (CWA) issued a warning on Wednesday, February 26, stating that some of its facilities may not operate normally in the event of a cyclone. The CWA also cautioned that water distribution across the country could be disrupted.
Collect Rainwater
As a precautionary measure, the CWA advises its subscribers to prepare for the impending storm. “We strongly recommend that CWA subscribers and the general public store enough water for personal use for at least two to three days,” the statement said.
Additionally, the CWA encourages the public to collect rainwater for use in cleaning efforts following the cyclone.
