Weather Warning: Scorching Temperatures Set to Reach 35°C

Temperatures are expected to soar well above the seasonal average. According to the Vacoas Meteorological Station, the central plateau will see readings between a stifling 28°C and 31°C, while coastal areas may swelter under temperatures peaking between 33°C and 35°C. This unrelenting heatwave is attributed to a warm, gentle breeze sweeping across our region.
Minimum Temperatures:
- Central Plateau: 21°C to 23°C
- Coastal Regions: 25°C to 27°C
Forecast Outlook:
- Morning: Enjoy splendid weather across the island.
- Afternoon: Expect sporadic cloud developments in the east, south, and central plateau, along with isolated showers. Elsewhere, skies will be partially overcast.
- Evening/Night: A calm and serene night awaits.
Wind: Light and variable.
Sea Conditions: Rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the south reaching as high as 2.5 metres.
