Telephone Tapping Scandal: MSM Demands Independent Inquiry

The Mauritius Socialist Militant (MSM) party is calling for an independent commission of inquiry to shed light on the rampant telephone tapping scandal that has shaken the island nation to its core. The demands come as the leaks, now infamously known as the “Moustass Leaks”, continue to send shockwaves throughout the country.
In a strongly-worded press statement, the MSM has requested the urgent need for an impartial and transparent investigation to clear the air surrounding these clandestine operations.
The party is adamant that an independent commission, chaired by a retired Supreme Court judge, is the only way to guarantee the integrity and autonomy of the inquiry.
“It is imperative that the Mauritian people are informed of the truth, with utmost transparency and without any political interference,” declared the MSM leadership, as the party steps up its demands for accountability and justice.
