French President Emmanuel Macron to Visit Mauritius in April

French President Emmanuel Macron is set to visit Mauritius in April. His visit will begin with participation in the 5th summit of the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), scheduled to take place in Madagascar on April 24.

Following the summit, Macron will travel to La Réunion before arriving in Mauritius.

The Office of the Prime Minister has confirmed this upcoming visit, although a detailed agenda has yet to be finalized.

The IOC summit will bring together leaders from member states, including Mauritius, at Nosy Be, with a focus on food self-sufficiency.
