CCID Questioned Former Health Minister over 2022 Assault Allegation

Kailesh Jugutpal, the former Minister of Health, was questioned by the Central Crime Investigation Department (CCID).

This interrogation is following a complaint lodged against him in July 2022 by an employee of the Ministry, who accused Jugutpal of assault.

The complaint was filed by Zaahir Peerbux, an attendant, who claimed that the former minister had assaulted him in his office.

After undergoing questioning, Kailesh Jugutpal was allowed to leave the CCID premises.
