On Thursday, December 26, a four-month-old infant tragically passed away at a daycare in Morcellement St-André. The child’s relatives have reported the incident to the local police, expressing their grief and seeking answers.

According to the family, they were contacted by the daycare’s management in the afternoon to inform them about the situation involving their child.

Initial reported suggest that the infant died from asphyxiation after swallowing the contents of his stomach, a finding confirmed by an autopsy conducted by Dr. Sudesh Kumar Gungadin.
