Jane Constance Shines Bright with Master’s Degree Achievement

Jane Constance, a remarkable young woman from Mauritius, has recently achieved a significant milestone by earning her Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management with honors from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). In a heartfelt message on her Facebook page, Jane expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her—both directly and behind the scenes—demonstrating her belief that “perseverance is not a long race, but a series of short races one after the other.”
This accomplishment marked yet another success for Jane, who has consistently made her country proud since a young age.
Alongside her master’s degree, she has also attained a CIPD qualification, an internationally recognized credential highly regarded in the field of human resources.
However, Jane’s journey has not been without its challenges.
As a visually impaired individual, she has faced numerous obstacles.
In 2018, she raised awareness about the educational difficulties faced by children with disabilities when she alerted the Minister of Education about these issues.
The following year, her pursuit of a scholarship for higher education abroad was met with disappointment when the ministry informed her father, Tony Constance, that no assistance was available for individuals with disabilities.
Despite these setbacks, Jane continued to chase her dreams.
After achieving excellent results in her Higher School Certificate, she persevered and has now added an LLB from UCLan, which she obtained in 2023, to her impressive list of qualifications.
Jane Constance’s achievements serve as an inspiration to many, proving that determination and resilience can lead to success against all odds. Congratulations, Jane!
