Government Announces 14th Month Salary Plan

On December 13, the Council of Ministers made a significant decision regarding the distribution of a 14th month’s salary for employees earning up to Rs 50,000 per month. This payment will be issued in two installments, reflecting a targeted approach to support lower-income workers.

According to reports, the first installment is scheduled to be disbursed at the end of 2024, with the remaining balance to be paid at the beginning of 2025.

In addition to this announcement, the Council also declared a reduction of Rs 5 per liter on diesel and petrol prices, aimed at easing the financial burden on consumers.
