The long-awaited day has arrived for over 14,000 Grade 3 students in Mauritius, who received their results for the National Certificate in Education (NCE) on today, December 3. These results mark a crucial milestone in their educational journey, giving them the option to either continue their studies at their current colleges or enroll in an academy.

The Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) presented the results on Tuesday, December 3rd. This year’s overall success rate stands at 70.2%.

Notably, female students outperformed their male counterparts, with a success rate of 74.2% for girls compared to 66.2% for boys.

This is representing a decline from the previous year, 2023, when the success rate for the NCE was 74.6%, reflecting both the hard work of the students and the dedication of the teaching staff.

Additionally, the impending results for the Primary School Achievement Certificate are highly anticipated.

These results will be announced on Thursday, December 12th, marking another significant date for young students and their families.
