Ehsan Juman Appointed Deputy Chairperson of Committees

This Friday, November 29, 2024, marks the official opening of the Eighth National Assembly of Mauritius. The inaugural session will commence with a solemn proclamation, followed by the swearing-in of the elected members.

Following this ceremony, elections will be held for the positions of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, as well as the Deputy Chairperson of Committees.

Ehsan Juman has been appointed as the Deputy Chairperson of Committees. The elected member of parliament, who topped the list in Constituency No. 3 (Port-Louis Maritime/Port-Louis East), expressed that this role is a genuine honor for him.
