Minister Meets with Families Affected by Floods in Tranquebar

Minister Osman Mahomed recently visited Tranquebar to meet with families impacted by the flooding that occurred on April 21.

During this meeting, he was accompanied by an officer from the National Disaster Unit (NDU).

In a statement to the press, the new Minister of Transport indicated that the issue is currently being handled by the State Law Office.

He also expressed his intention to raise the matter at the upcoming Cabinet meeting scheduled for this Friday, November 29, with the aim of expediting the processing of the case.
