Tragic Explosion in New Grove Leaves 1 Dead & 1 Injured

This November 26, afternoon, a tragic incident occurred on Deux-Bras Road in New Grove, near Rose-Belle in the South, resulting in one fatality and one serious injury. The explosion originated from the tank of a “Waste Water Carrier” truck while a welder was conducting repairs on the vehicle at the time.

Local residents reported hearing a loud explosion that echoed through the neighborhood.

The welder, who was identified as a resident of Dubreuil, was rushed to Nehru Hospital in Rose-Belle for emergency treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

The injured individual has been transferred to Moka Hospital for advanced medical care.
