Khreepanand Ramanah, the father of Dhavish Ramanah, is challenging the official account provided by Canadian authorities regarding his son’s death. He insisted on reopening the investigation, asserting that there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident that warrant further scrutiny.

In an interview with TéléPlus, Khreepanand described what he believed to be “foul play,” stating that he cannot accept that his son died under the circumstances outlined by the authorities.

He has reached out to several key parties, including the former police commissioner, members of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MCIT), and various ministers, but reports no progress in the investigation so far.

He is calling on the new government to take action to ensure that justice is served.

For context, Dhavish Ramanah, a 27-year-old Mauritian, was found dead in Toronto, Canada, on April 27.

The Canadian police have classified his death as an accident, suggesting that he fell from the 35th floor of his apartment building.

However, the father remains unconvinced, pointing to troubling signs such as suspicious behavior from Dhavish’s housemates and conflicting witness statements that contribute to his concerns.

Khreepanand Ramanah is demanding a clearer understanding of the events surrounding his son’s tragic death.
