Health Services: IBL Acquires Clinique Bon Pasteur

In a significant move for the healthcare sector in Mauritius, the IBL Group has acquired a majority stake in Clinique Bon Pasteur, taking control with a 65% ownership through its subsidiary, Life Together.

This partnership is poised to enhance health and well-being services in the region, with prominent figures such as Arnaud Lagesse, CEO of IBL, and Dr. François Tadebois, the medical director of the clinic, leading the initiative.

This acquisition follows IBL’s existing 24.6% share in Clinique Bon Pasteur, which the group had held since 2021.

The move aligns with IBL’s strategic vision of establishing itself as a key player in the healthcare sector.

As of 2024, IBL is ranked as the top company in Mauritius, boasting a revenue of Rs 101 billion, according to the Top Hundred Companies list.

Since 2019, healthcare has become a focal point in IBL’s development strategy, marked by the establishment of Life Together, the brand dedicated to medical facilities.

Clinique Bon Pasteur, which has been providing health services for over 90 years, is renowned for its high-quality care and humanistic values, emphasizing a patient-centered approach.

The majority acquisition by IBL underscores the group’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare in a safe and welcoming environment for patients and the community.

Arnaud Lagesse highlighted that this acquisition solidifies IBL’s ambitions within the healthcare sector.

Géraldine Jauffret, CEO of Life Together, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, which builds on an already established professional partnership.
