New Govt: Swearing-In Ceremony Scheduled for Friday Nov 22

After more than a week of anticipation, the new government formed by the Alliance of Change will finally be official, with elected representatives assigned to various ministries. The swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed ministers will take place today, November 22nd, at 4:00 PM at the State House.

During the ceremony, all ministers will take their oath of office in front of the President of the Republic, Prithviraj Roopun, and the Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam.

Following numerous rumors about the timing of this event throughout the week, the confirmation was announced by the communication team of the Alliance of Change last evening, November 21.

The leaders find themselves navigating a challenging situation, as there are only 24 ministries to distribute among 60 elected officials.

They have also urged everyone to be understanding, as some difficult decisions will need to be made regarding appointments.
