Indian High Commissioner Nandini Singla Bids Farewell to Mauritius

A reception was held November 18 evening, in honor of Nandini Singla, the Indian High Commissioner to Mauritius, who is departing after four years of service in the country. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Eddy Boissézon, the Vice President of the Republic, newly elected members of parliament, and Chief Justice Rehana Mungly Gulbul.

During her farewell speech, Singla expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the Mauritian government and its people for their support throughout her tenure.

She emphasized the enduring ties between India and Mauritius and acknowledged the deep-rooted relationship that has developed over the years.

Singla extended her congratulations to the newly appointed Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam following the elections held on November 10.

She reassured attendees of the Indian government’s continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Mauritius.

Nandini Singla is set to leave Mauritius in the coming days, marking the end of her significant diplomatic role in the island nation.
