The wave of resignations continues in the country following the victory of the Alliance of Change on November 10. Navin Beekary, who was appointed as the Director General of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) under the previous administration, submitted his resignation on Friday, November 15.

It is important to note that the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) was established last year, replacing the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) under the previous MSM government.

Beekary had been appointed to lead the FCC earlier this year.
