Rodrigues’ 2 Best Losers Align with Govt in National Assembly

The Alliance Libération of Rodrigues has announced its decision to support the government within the National Assembly. This statement was made by Jacques Edouard, who was recently appointed as a deputy by the Electoral Commission on Tuesday, November 12. Alongside him, Dianette Henriette-Manan has also been designated as a Best Loser in Parliament.

Jacques Edouard emphasized the significance of representing Rodrigues in the National Assembly, highlighting the responsibility that comes with this role. Rodrigues will now have four deputies in the Assembly, including Edouard and Henriette-Manan from the Alliance Libération, as well as Francisco François and Roxanne Collet from the Organisation du Peuple Rodriguais (OPR).

This political alignment marks a strategic move for the Alliance Libération as it seeks to influence policy and governance for the benefit of Rodrigues within the national framework.
