Simla Kistnen: “The Alliance of Change’s Victory Means a Lot to Me”

In the wake of the recent electoral victory of the Alliance of Change, Simla Kistnen expressed her deep emotions about the event while at the polling center in Constituency No. 8 in Quartier-Militaire.
Speaking to reporters, Mrs. Kistnen revealed that Navin Ramgoolam had assured her that if the alliance emerged victorious, he would assist in uncovering the truth regarding the death of her husband, Soopramanien Kistnen.
“I trust Navin Ramgoolam,” she stated, adding that she believes justice for her husband will soon be served.
Kistnen conveyed her relief at the departure of Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth’s government, describing her four-year struggle under his leadership.
“My husband always said he would confront them like a child confronting a bully.
Today, the results show one party after another has fallen.
If my husband were here, the other party would have won, but they did not understand his significance,” she asserted.
Simla Kistnen’s declarations is reflecting her hopes for a new chapter in politics and justice, as she continues to seek closure and accountability for her husband’s untimely death.
