Pravind Jugnauth Resigns as PM Following Legislative Election Defeat

Pravind Jugnauth officially resigned from his position as Prime Minister of Mauritius on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

As the leader of the Mouvement Socialiste Militant (MSM), Jugnauth is expected to submit his resignation letter to the President of the Republic this evening November 12.

On same day, early morning, he presided over a final meeting of the Council of Ministers during a special session.
