Hindu Ladies Council Responds to Comments in “Moustass Leaks”
The Hindu Ladies Council has taken a firm stance regarding the recent audio recordings that target Nandini Singla, India’s High Commissioner to Mauritius. The council deemed the content of these recordings to be defamatory, severely damaging to Singla’s reputation, as well as detrimental to the honor of India and the diplomatic relations between the two nations.
In a press conference held on Tuesday, November 7, Nivedita Nathoo, the president of the council, described the situation as “very serious.”
She urged outgoing Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth to initiate a thorough investigation to formally identify those responsible for the creation and distribution of the audio recordings.
Recognizing the challenges faced in similar investigations in the past, Nathoo proposed that the implicated individuals voluntarily undergo voice analysis to establish their identities.
This measure, she argued, could facilitate a clearer path to uncovering the truth behind the disturbing allegations.
