Mpox Contact Tracing: 8 Individuals Under Medical Surveillance

A 49-year-old Nigerian man who tested positive for Mpox remains in a stable condition, according to information released by Dr. Khodabaccus from the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, October 30.

The patient is currently in isolation at Jeetoo Hospital, where he is being monitored daily by a team of medical specialists.

In addition to the patient, eight other individuals who were in contact with him have been placed under medical surveillance as part of health monitoring measures.

Dr. Khodabaccus stated that, as of now, none of these individuals are exhibiting any symptoms.
