The Brock University community in Canada is mourning the unexpected death of Mishrka Bucha, a fourth-year psychology student from Mauritius. A former student of Queen Elizabeth College, Mishrka was well-known for her generosity and commitment to her peers.

She played a vital role as a Don in the Quarry View residence and acted as an ambassador for international students.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Mishrka was a member of the university’s women’s fencing team and also worked at the library and career services, where she actively supported her fellow students.

Her passing has left a significant void among her friends and family, who remember her as an inspiring and compassionate young woman.

Friends at the university have expressed that Mishrka’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, highlighting the positive impact she had on their lives.
